🔬 Research & Publications
"The evidence behind every article we publish — our research focus areas, peer-reviewed studies, methodology, and how you can read, cite, or collaborate with us."
🎯 Our Research Commitment
DrInsight is not a primary research laboratory — we are a medical publisher committed to translating the best available scientific evidence into content patients and clinicians can trust. Every review, evidence summary, and clinical explainer we publish is grounded in peer-reviewed literature, screened against strict evidence standards, and reviewed by qualified physicians before it reaches you.
Our editorial research program exists to answer one question for every article: "What does the best current evidence actually say?" We systematically monitor peer-reviewed medical literature, clinical practice guidelines, and authoritative public-health sources, then synthesise them into accurate, plain-language content.
We publish four things: evidence reviews that summarise the state of knowledge on a condition, clinical explainers that translate guidelines for patients, meta-summaries that pool findings across multiple studies, and practice guides for everyday health decisions. Everything is version-controlled, dated, and revisited on a fixed review cycle.
- Every clinical claim is traceable to a cited, peer-reviewed source.
- All content is signed off by a licensed physician before publication.
- We disclose funding, conflicts of interest, and AI assistance openly.
- Superseded content is corrected or retracted, never quietly deleted.

Every publication moves through the same four-stage pipeline before it goes live:
1. Evidence Gathering
Search peer-reviewed databases & guidelines
2. Expert Authoring
Drafted by a qualified clinician
3. Physician Review
Independent medical fact-check
4. Publish & Monitor
Dated, cited & scheduled for re-review
- Primary and secondary sources are recorded for every claim.
- Reviewers must be independent of the author on the same piece.
- No content is published on the strength of a single low-quality study.
We weight sources using a standard evidence hierarchy. Higher-tier evidence takes priority whenever it exists.
Tier 1 — Strongest
Systematic reviews, meta-analyses and high-quality randomised controlled trials.
Tier 2 — Strong
Well-designed cohort and case-control studies, and current clinical practice guidelines.
Tier 3 — Supporting
Expert consensus statements and authoritative public-health guidance, used with context.
Not Accepted
Anecdote, promotional material, predatory-journal content, or unverified claims.
- Independence: advertisers and sponsors never influence editorial conclusions.
- Disclosure: author affiliations, funding and conflicts of interest are stated openly.
- Corrections: errors are corrected transparently with a visible correction notice.
- Attribution: all sources are credited; plagiarism is not tolerated.
- AI transparency: any AI assistance in drafting is disclosed and always physician-verified.
Our Editorial Policy, Medical Review Process and Author Guidelines describe every step in detail.
Tap each type to see what it means and how much evidence sits behind it.
A structured synthesis of the current best evidence on a single condition or question. These draw on multiple high-tier sources and are our most rigorous format.
- Typically 30–60 cited references.
- Reviewed by a specialist in the relevant field.
- Re-examined at least every 18 months.
Translates a clinical guideline or diagnosis into plain language for patients and caregivers, without oversimplifying the science.
- Anchored to current practice guidelines.
- Focused on "what this means for you".
Pools and plainly summarises findings across several studies on the same topic, reporting where evidence agrees, disagrees, and remains uncertain.
- States effect sizes and limitations honestly.
- Never presents preliminary data as settled fact.
Actionable, everyday guidance for common health decisions — screening, prevention, when to see a doctor — grounded in guideline recommendations.
- Checklists and clear next steps.
- Always includes a "seek medical advice" pathway.
Each publication carries a transparency footer so readers can judge its reliability at a glance.
